Bloom Street

Formed in the fall of 1997, Bloom Street is a four-piece rock-fusion group with deep roots in improvisation. Over the past several years, they have continued to develop their own distinct sound. Primarily rock based, Bloom Street creates a genre-bending experience drawing from each members individual influences. You might hear high-speed bluegrass, infectious reggae, rightous funk and a latin melody all in the same song!

Lead vocalist Daniel Botula sings with a raw energy & potency that hits you right in the heart while his guitar pulls you in. Guitarist Joe Bowers takes the groove in all the right places with his crafty rhythm's and fiery leads. Bassist Keith Hill plays with a real sense of groove that drives the the band into uncharted territory. Percussionist Alex Molina pulls it all together with a natural feel that is impeccable.

Bloom Street's high-energy live performances boast unique original material that incorporate inspirational improvised jams. You never know what the band might play, maybe a set of Ween or Parliament like at one of their legendary Halloween Bashes or maybe a full blown rock odyessy.

In 2002, the band recorded their self-produced debut album "Keep On" at SAE Studios on Music Row in Nashville, TN. In 2009 the band release "Pure Goodness" to rave reviews and have begun receiving national exposure. The band has performed live on the air numerous times at 91.9 WFPK, Louisville Ky's NPR radio station. Bloom Street has been a part of the Terrapin Hill Harvest Festival, Forecastle festival, Pennington Folk festival, Peak Summit Groove & Dance festival and many others playing alongside such bands as The Wailers, The David Grisman Quintet, Yonder Mountain String Band, Steve Kimock Band, Oteil & the Peacemakers and many other great bands.

With an ever-growing repertoire and fan-base Bloom Street is intent on spreading their vision and energetic live shows around the mid-west region.
